Turkish food has great variety, and the dishes on the menu at Red Mezze reflect this eclectic nature, with Hala meat, fish and vegetable dishes. You can sample a Turkish breakfast, and lots of other snacks including paninis, gozleme, menemen, kumpir, tantuni, and sucuk burgers. Then there’s a succulent lunch special, which is such a bargain at just £6.95 for two courses, and includes two mezze dishes and a main meal!

As well as the delicious hot and cold mezze, there is also a very tasty barbeque menu, which includes chicken and lamb shish dishes, kebabs, kaburga, adana, pirzola, and wraps. Red Mezze, fine restaurant The gorgeous main dishes are all cooked to perfection, and include kleftiko, iskender, ali nazik, guvec, moussakka, izmir kofte, and kebabs. There are some exquisite fish dishes to choose from such as king prawns, levrek, cupra, swordfish, salmon and seafood guvec.
For vegetarians there is a mouth-watering vegetable moussakka, falafel, vegetable guvec, and a sumptuous vegetarian special. Naturally you can compliment your meal with a wine, beer or spirit from the fine selection of beverages on the menu.
After all that great food, if you can manage a dessert, the baklava, kadayif and kazandibi are all highly recommended with a Turkish coffee!
